A haven of peace between sea and scrub
in Porto Pollo

We put the notion of time back at the center of our concerns. Like a rare and precious commodity, it must be appreciated, savored, and relished.
We take the time to cultivate each vegetable that will adorn your plates, to raise each pig with respect for their well-being.

We take the time to let our charcuterie dry in the traditional way in a stone caseddu so that all the flavor notes of our land, so dear to our hearts, can be expressed.

With us, no frills and chatter, but real moments of emotion, shared in a disconcerting authenticity.

We like to believe that our customers are friends, that they feel here like in their holiday home. And that, they too will take the time to appreciate our work with respect for the living surroundings that surround us.

Our farm's products are naturally showcased, their quality is such that the chef's work lies in the utmost respect. The technique here serves the taste. No showboating.

We accompany you on your excursions with our picnic baskets. Always the same quality and commitment, our picnic baskets are entirely homemade, based on fresh and zero-waste products!

Porto Pollo is a small seaside resort where life is good and with all the activities to keep both young and old occupied!

Hiking, Beaches, and Genoese Towers.

Many hikes are also accessible from the inn... Furthermore, the MARE E MONTI SUD passes through Porto Pollo, the relaxing stage of your hiking week.

But also several small hikes for a day trip accessible to everyone!
Meet at the magnificent wild beach of Cupabia by passing our Genoese Tower A Capanedda with a picnic from Hotel Kallisté, which is an essential day of your stay in Porto Pollo.

Our farm with our breeding of Corsican pigs, Porcu Nustrale, our 5000m2 vegetable garden where we grow all our vegetables, and our chickens provide a large part of the table products. Our meats, raised exclusively on the island, come from our farm.

A contemporary Corsican cuisine in a chic and warm bistro setting. The real "plus" of the inn to do and redo. Coming to the Hotel Kallisté and not eating is clearly missing out on our identity and the best we have to offer you!

The inn's table welcomes you every evening except Sunday. Reservation is mandatory.

Respect for the environment is our priority

The approach was an obvious choice for us; it is above all a personal and voluntary commitment that is particularly close to our hearts. A label that already perfectly matched our lifestyle and operation of the Hotel Kallisté. It didn't take much to obtain this label, of which we are very proud.

But what do we actually do?

Here are some examples of our commitments:

At least 50% of the electricity we use comes from renewable energy sources,
We reduce water consumption for taps and showers,
We offer unlimited filtered still or sparkling water to our customers,
We use low-energy light bulbs,
Our staff is trained in environmentally protective gestures,
We minimize our waste as much as possible, and the little we produce is sorted to facilitate recycling,
We prohibit the use of individually packaged products served at breakfast or in rooms,
We closely monitor our consumption to avoid any waste,
We do not use any products harmful to the environment or human beings and favor steam cleaning of surfaces,
We favor local sourcing for our purchases.
